Parents for ADHD Advocacy Australia (PAAA) were recently dismayed to discover the inaccurate and trivial portrayal of ADHD in Steve Biddulph’s Raising Boys in the 21 Century.
Following feedback from members of our community, other ADHD advocacy groups, and a forensic open letter from Lou Brown Biddulph has agreed to remove this section from his book, promising to also write a correction on his website.
We encourage people who become aware of any further instances of stigmatising or inaccurate portrayals of ADHD, in particular on Biddulph’s popular Raising Boys Facebook page, to contact us or report the matter to stigma watch.
